If you just took the time to look it up you will find that some of yhat money did go to whaling. That user gave money to help support the japanese people, and they DID use it for whaling. So dont call it sick for the user to be angry. I dont know how you can call that sick when you are spending a suspiciously large amount of time defending people needlessly slaughtering thousands of whales a year. And I hear S Korea is reverting back to whaling for "scientific" purposes. Just another Lie that should be added to this site to show that you are giving each side a fair amount of critisism. I mean, if this site is only interested in the lies not the issue, surely it should include both points of veiw, right? The money donated to groups like the red cross was spent by the red cross on the people in japan. The money used for whaling was raised by the Japanese goverment from taxes paid by Japanese people. Follow your own advise and look it up.

Killing 450 whales a year in the southern ocean is not killing the oceans so unless you have an actual point to make WTF are you on about? Its more than 450 if you add all the whale murdering group kill totals together. And every creature is inportant in an ecosystem, 'Secrers Of Our Living Planet' proves this. And these cruel methods of killing whales is not humane. We have been strangling the oceans for years now, dont you think its time we loosened the noose? I said 450 in the southern ocean, thats correct so get over it. Yes the total number of whales killed each year over the whole planet is more than 450. I never said it wasn't so Whats your point?

The money donated to groups like the red cross was spent by the red cross on the people in japan. The money used for whaling was raised by the Japanese goverment from taxes paid by Japanese people. Follow your own advise and look it up. It was posted in several well respected newspapers and Japan released a statement saying that some of the money WAS spent in getting the whaling fleet back into the oceans ti hunt whales. You cannot simply dismiss it by simply saying it didnt happen, with no evidence. And you failed to answer why if this site is an impartial site just interested in the lies why no lies from the whalers side are on here. Especially the lie that they are conducting 'research'. There research has yeilded no RELEVENT information. It has told us useless facts that could have been discovered with no deaths. And the information is not worth the death of hundreds maybe thousands of whales a year. Each hunt is a tragic blow to their population. This is not about whether its legal or not. I dont care about"Japan never agreed so they dont need to follow the IWC laws" crao. I mean, I never signed anything to say I follow the laws of my country, but that doesnt mean I can go around killing people. No, this is about the fact that Japan have no right to be hunting those whales for 'research'. Just because they apparently want to know what is going on insuide a whales body it does not mean they can go out and kill hundreds of them! Its insanity. How can anyone justify killing hundreds of key figures in an ecosystem, animals who love and care for the members of their family equaly or more keenly than we can. So you carry on with your , " I dont really care about the issue and have nothing to gain from arguing my point for 30 seconds a day, so im gona carry on doing because i dont care about what happens and I have nothing to gain" bullcrap okayy?

What was reported in the papers was the bullshit lie started by paul watson that donation money was diverted to fund whaling, the japanese clarified the situation by saying they were using tax relief money to help fund whaling. Unfortunatly blind followers only believe the watson version of events. Money donated to NGO's like the red cross doesn;t even go to the japanese goverment as the money is spent by the individual groups that it was donated too.
Its not my site so i don;t have to answer that.
The research papers prove they are doing research and the IWC agrees the japanese are doing research, the fact you don't like it doesn't make it any less of a fact.
The Japanese are following the IWC rules and they have every right to be hunting whales for research as its part of the IWC rules.
yeah because whales are the only animals that care about each other, almost every animal species does it, whales are not the special mystical creatures that people like you try to make them.
a hunt of 450 whales from a population of nearly 1 million is not a tragic blow, its nothing, the population is growing with the hunt, not diminishing.
Instead of attacking a legal hunt taken a small number of a numerous species why don't people like you go after the hunts of endangered species? Too much like hard work i suppose

I thought this was your site so i redirect that at whoever created the site. And I do spen time helping conservation efforts. The only I have done to protect the whales is come on this site, I plan on working more towards protecting the whales in the future. This is my last post on this pathetic website. You could do a lot more with that spare time and debating 'talent' (for want of a better word) and put it to good use maybe working for a cause? Instead of attacking a group of people who feel , rightly in my opinion, that killing whales like this is a terrible act. Waste of time and effort cause sea shepherd aint ever gonna give up.

Paul watson lies period. For example in his claim that he was "rammed" by a Canadian ice breaker in the first part of that video the icebreaker can clearly be seen turning to port away from The Farely Mowat. The Fartely Mowat maintains course and speed clearly in violation of the international rules fot thec avoidance of collision at seaWhere it states that if the stand on vessel (Farely Mowat) determines that action by the giveway vessel (the Ice breaker) alone will not avoid collision then the standon vessel must take action also. The Farley Mowat took no action. The "ramming turned out to be a scrapping of hulls with no damage aside from some paint removed. In the second part of the video the Farley Mowat is approaching the bow of the icebreaker. Look at the waterline, NO BOW WAVE. meaning the icebreaker was stopped or going astern. The Farely Mowat then cuts across the bow of the icebreaker claiming the icebreaker turned into them. I have news for you even at full speed a ship the size of that icebreaker cannot alter course that fast. Then after the Farely Mowat crossee the icebreakers bow the propwash iof the icebreaker can clearly be seen coming forward and is about amidships meaning it was going astern. so Paul Watson and the seashephard soceity tell lies. Every collision they have been in that have caused

An inaccuracy is about the collision. If you watch the videos directly from the Gill, it will show the engines are off because they were just about out of fuel the entire time the Japanese ship approaches. The reason it had a wake is that they tried restarting the engines when the ship showed a collision threat to get out of the way. They just barely got it to produce propulsion when it got hit so it was still relatively dead in the water and any average person would describe that as being deliberately hit while sitting still in the water. If they just barely started to produce propulsion did they forget about the reverse gear? You know the one that would have taken them away from the rather large mass of steel the forward gear put them directly in front of?

You: The research papers prove they are doing research and the IWC agrees the japanese are doing research, the fact you don't like it doesn't make it any less of a fact. The IWC agrees that the Japanese is doing lethal research and the majority of it's members find it unnecessary. You: a hunt of 450 whales from a population of nearly 1 million is not a tragic blow, its nothing, the population is growing with the hunt, not diminishing. The latest approximate count of the Minke Whale population in the area under discussion is closer to 700k not 1 million. Just to keep it real. You: Instead of attacking a legal hunt taken a small number of a numerous species why don't people like you go after the hunts of endangered species? Too much like hard work i suppose Who says we don't? The current status of the Minke Whale is "suspected." Keep chowing down on those Minke burgers and that status will eventually change.

Trying to malign Paul Watson under the guise of anonymity is cowardly. Besides, everyone knows he and his crew are attempting to stop the world's billionaire pigs from stealing all of earth's resources for a profit. As far as I'm concerned, the sun rises and sets over Paul Watson's ass. I hope he goes on destroying those who steal from the earth. This is hilarious!! An excellent example of how stupid some people are.

This website and these comments are a waste of time. It's just one big clu$terfüčk of an argument that is a useless he said she said. At the end of the day the conviction efforts of Paul Watson put this site to shame. This site is bogus.
